So many people go and some never come back! My friend Lizzy has just Married a fine Aussie called Ed, and Fran is the latest loss of England to the land down under! We had Fran's leaving do last weekend and what a great time it was, even though I was on the floor with these two snorring in my earhole.

Newstead Treefest 2006 was a fantastic gathering of lively and creative types. This years festival (my first) was about 1500 strong and had somthing for everybody. crafts and music for the kids and copious amouts of good music.
I was invited along as a photographer. . . . well . . I was invited along as a donkey for penny the photographer! She took the pictures and I carried her bags. It wasn't quite that bad anyway. I got some short time-lapse sequences taken, that Morrigan (Rob's youth) tendes to skip about in lots.
The day was full of quality live acts that went on until 11-12ish, and then banging tunes took over with the Smokey's rig. It went on and on as they usually do!

I Had a most excellent time courtesy of the newly Married Couple. I loved the dragonflies and food and what must go down in history as the most amusing groom's poem . . . . ever:
Jelley is a friend of Nathan, who is, in effect, my brother in-law. Jelley and Nathan very kindly invited me up to the stag do, as a picture-taking fringe friend. (Possibly just to make up the numbers)
Aaaaaaanyway, we trotted off from Kettering on the Friday afternoon - 18th June I think it was - Nick on his new love, a black speed tripple, and me on my comparatively sluggish harley. We stopped in London for 2 nights, both night relying on the kindness of friends to put us up - Many thanks to Anil and Rosie - You are troopers :¬)
I met lots of folk that Hasna knew, one who stayed with us that evening, Moyra (y or i?). In the morning, We were playing an interesting game of getting around 4 people around london with 3 crash hats - that took us to Regents park, where all four of us eased our severe hangovers in the sun on the Saturday. I had planned to meet my new photographer friend Emma (see previous blog) but I felt i might be bad company - so I had to let her down - sorry Emma.
I will probably never finish the end, so here is a summary. . . . Flat, straight Roads. Mr Hutton put me through my paces at the weekend. . . . Beer and Sausage festivals and cheesy nightclubs - a kicking on the football pitch by a whole host of Scots - BBQs and games. Then to top it all off he makes me plummet down the famous Coopers Hill after a 15lb Cheese. It got a bit muddy. . . . AND I met my First ever Female Woody!
