I have made a number of chess boards and pieces to date.. A few of them here... Most of the early ones i never got pictures of :¬( - some of them were a little abstract. One set that I still have myself are abstract shapes.
One person once claimed that it was impossible to play with. Its actually not difficult at all, unless you can't play the game anyway. You only need an indication of which pieces are which and you can play the game.
I reckon the pros could play a game with 16 identical pieces white and black . . 32 all the same might be pushing it though!.
The person ridiculing my set did not play me in the end. She'd have probably beaten me. I can't work out if i'd actually want her to win or not!
